Experienced candidates are sought to join the Cathedral's Finance Committee - help lead the Cathedral. In February it was announced that Hereford had seen off 24 other places to land its’ very own official MONOPOLY board. Note: the table excludes the non-specific "Go", "Jail", "Electric Company", "Free Parking", "Water Works" and "Go To Jail" squares. Chance and Community Chest squares are also omitted. Hereford has seen off 24 West Midlands cities and towns to land the MONOPOLY honours for this year.There is a famous Community Chance card in the original MONOPOLY version which says: ‘You have won Second Prize in a Beauty Contest’.Well Hereford has very much won FIRST prize! Executive Principal, Peter Cooper expressed his excitement: “Monopoly is part of many of our childhoods and I am delighted that the Sixth Form College has a prominent position on the board along with other icons such as the Cathedral, the Green Dragon and Castle Green.
