About this deal

You’ll know the dough is done when you can rip off a piece of it and stretch it slowly by a couple inches without it breaking apart. If the dough breaks, knead for another 3-5 minutes (to allow the dough to absorb more moisture). If it still won’t stretch, try adding a tablespoon of water and kneading by hand to incorporate the water. Then transfer it to the mixer once again and allow the dough hook to do its work for another 5 minutes. You need to give the dough time to absorb the moisture uniformly.

Boil water in a pot and add noodles. If you feel they shrink, stretch each strip slightly. Bring the large pot to a boil. Spray a frying pan or wok with low calorie cooking spray and place over a medium to high heat. When hot, add the halloumi pieces and cook for around 2 minutes each side until golden. Transfer to a plate and put to one side.Starting from the middle of the dough, tear a small hole where the indentation is. Then using one swift motion, tear the dough in half along the entire indentation. If you want a continuous looped, noodle, don't tear it all the way. Otherwise, you can split the noodle to make one super long noodle or two shorter strands. Set the pulled noodle aside and repeat with a second slab of dough. Cook the hand-pulled noodles: Knead the dough again for several minutes until the surface is really smooth as I show in the video. The color of the dish may change, but it’ll still be awesome.

Adjust the amount of pepper use to your preference. The spice level and numbing effect is very much customizable. So feel free to add more or use less to your preference. Bean sprouts –replace the bean sprouts with enoki mushrooms, bamboo shoots or snow peas for a similar flavour.Machine translation, like DeepL or Google Translate, is a useful starting point for translations, but translators must revise errors as necessary and confirm that the translation is accurate, rather than simply copy-pasting machine-translated text into the English Wikipedia. But I promise that if you hold my hand Dear Reader and follow these instructions, you'll soon be doing your own Biang Biang pull with a batch of your home made noodles. Deglaze large frying pan, then add remaining 1 tbsp sesame oil. Add garlic and saute for 10 seconds over med-high heat.
