About this deal

Everything was perfect! You provided us with everything we needed and more! The views out the front were amazing, the walks behind the pod were enjoyed by us all, especially our dog. The hot tub was brilliant and perfect to relax in after a long trek. The pod was warm, cosy and clean and made for a super enjoyable stay. The brownies and Prosecco were such a lovely touch and put an extra layer of icing on an already perfect cake! Thank you. We will certainly look forward to a return visit. The pre-arrival instructions your hosts send are helpful and informative. The welcome gifts are a real treat. Cllr Pritchard proposed approving the application and was seconded by Cllr Roger Williams (Liberal Democrat – Felinfach). Fungus gnats are also very fond of stored compost, especially if it is freshly sterilised or contains animal-derived fertilisers. Keep all your spare compost bags tightly closed. Even better, buy new compost as you need it and avoid storing it altogether. Loam-based John Innes composts tend to be less attractive to fungus gnats than soil-less composts.

The contained outside space was great to keep our dog safe. The hot tub was fantastic. The walks from the door were lovely with wonderful views. The pod was clean and comfortable and bigger than I thought it would be. Prosecco and cupcakes on arrival and the hot tub was lovely under the stars

Which De-icer to choose?

Our range of garden gravel comes in a variety of textures for excellent drainage, making it a versatile choice for your outdoor areas. Ideal for driveways and walkways, browse our range of colours from natural pea shingle to decorative white gravel. To help prevent gravel from spreading, we recommend using Ecobase porous pavers that have honeycomb shaped slots, making installation and maintenance easy. Lovely accommodation great place to stay if your looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing hot tub great feature to spend a few hours in after a day of hiking."

The mine was acquired by Messrs Lewis & Phillips in 1825 and, despite several lawsuits being taken out by Lawrence the previous lessee, much development took place. It was during this period that several shafts were sunk, including New Engine and White Grit Shafts, an engine house being erected at the latter. White Grit Shaft has now collapsed and the engine house has suffered badly over the years, leaving only the lever wall and parts of two others standing to the west of the road. The only real difference between white and yellow grits is the color of the corn they are made from, but there are some very slight nutritional and taste variances. The Long AnswerGrits come in two different variations, white and yellow. There’s no real change in texture, and the two are used interchangeably in recipes, but there are some nutritional differences. White De-icing Salt 25KG – A large bag of fast-acting de-icing salt. High in purity with virtually no residue, it provides clean and efficient de-icing and guards against re-freezing. Lewis & Phillips gave up the lease in 1848 and the sett was worked separately as East Grit and White Grit until 1860. In 1862, John Taylor & Company acquired the lease and drove exploratory levels from the old White Grit Shaft. His main effort was at East Grit, however, and he erected an engine on New Engine Shaft. This was undoubtedly used for both winding and pumping but no details are known about the engine. The most striking feature is the large slot in the north wall which housed the flywheel, the axle of which was inside the building. The pit on the east side housed the winding drum and the cylinder was mounted on the raised foundation in the centre of the building. New Engine Shaft has now collapsed and the lever wall of the engine house has fallen. Enclosed space was so perfect for our dogs and the veiws were breathtaking. Everything we needed was included (prosecco was a lovely extra touch.) Hottub was perfect and the whole place was spotless. Why is it important to melt snow and de-ice my business premises? Obviously, the main reason why you need to make sure that your premises are free from ice and snow is safety. It is essential to do a risk assessment of your business premises and ensure that staff, customers and contractors can safely navigate them in snowy or icy conditions. You do not want anyone coming to harm on your property, and you may be liable for a compensation claim if they do. Remember, even if customers deem your premises safe, they may avoid them if accessing them is inconvenient. Therefore, it’s always advisable to get rid of snow and ice that will discourage people from approaching your business.

The sale was eventually approved and a long legal agreement drawn up between the two parties. There was also a short agreement covering the annual premium, viz "27th March 1783 Memorandum that Joshua Blakeway Esquire, John Lawrence Miner and Thomas Lloyd Anwyl, Gentleman, on behalf of themselves and the rest of a Company called and known by the Name and Description of the Whitegritt Company and Messrs Watt and Boulton Engineers agree as follows:Allow the surface of peat-based composts to dry out a little before watering the plant again. Remove dying leaves and dead flowers regularly, so that they do not begin to decay and so attract fungus gnats. Adults are less likely to lay eggs on dry surfaces with no decaying plant tissue for the newly hatched maggots to feed on. Covering the compost with grit or pebbles can help. Regardless of whether you choose a small bottle of liquid ice melt or de-icing salt in bulk buy quantities, Seton will have a solution that works for you. The only issue I had was I couldn’t get the shower very hot, but you had warned me about that and that you were planning on sorting it." Beautiful views and surroundings. The pod itself is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. We look forward to visiting again!

The pod was beautifully done, it was very comfortable and warm despite freezing outside temperatures." Premium due to Boulton & Watt = 272/3 = 90lbs/hour = (90 x 24 x 365)/2240 tons/year = 391 tons/year Also, there are some other colors that people are experimenting with. Blue and lavender grits are made from blue corn, which also goes toward those blue corn chips which are becoming all the rage lately.

The pod was absolutely beautiful, such great facilities and actually a lot more space than I was expecting." What are the best de-icers for my business premises? This will depend on the size and layout of your premises, and the areas you need to keep clear. Here are a few of our top de-icing products and equipment: The sunrise view through the front upstairs bedroom window (from the warmth and comfort of bed) across the valley on a clear sky morning was stunning. I hate to leave a “bad” review for someone’s business, and have never done so before, but if I had known the above when booking I’d have booked elsewhere or certainly another of the pods. I hope at least my review is constructive enough that this can be rectified going forward.
