About this deal

Ghost Spider ( Gwen Stacy) | Iron Spider | Scarlet Spider | Spider-Girl (Anya Corazon) | Spider-Girl (Jessica Drew) | Spider-Ham | Spider-Man (Miles Morales) | Spider-Man ( Peter Parker) | Spider-Man Noir | Spider-Man 2099 | Spider-Woman Here’s a comparison with an adult LEGO owl. The Baby Owl is a nice surprise and it’s great to see LEGO still using the Collectible LEGO Minifigures series to introduce new animal moulds. His accessory is the Bloodstone, a powerful magical artifact that was central to the Werewolf by Night plot. Next, we have the long-awaited re-release of She-Hulk minifigure, based on her Disney+ series version where Tatiana Maslany plays the Hulk’s lawyer cousin, Jen Walters.

Unfortunately the spray job on Wolverine’s mask isn’t the greatest and there are splotches near the edges. Next up we have Echo, aka Maya Lopez, who featured in Hawkeye and will also have her own series on Disney+ in November 2023. Echo is one of the most impressive minifigures in this series with incredible detailing across her entire body. Next we have a familiar face, Ororo Munroe aka Storm, the second in command of the X-Men. A mutant with the ability to manipulate the weather, she’s considered one of the most powerful mutants alive. Joining Moon Knight is Mr. Knight, another one of Marc Spector’s alter-egos. Eschewing Egyptian mummy garb for a more distinguished 3-piece suit, Mr. Knight is a more cerebral and levelled alter-egos and is dressed accordingly with a white mask, and sharp suit, all in monochrome white. Bill Foster does come with an Ant-Man statuette! The design of it is quite clever, as it functions both as Goliath being normal-sized and Ant-Man being tiny, or Goliath being supersized and Ant-Man being regular-sized.

Details

Hawkeye is a member of the Avengers that is called upon stop Loki, Dr. Doom and the team they assembled, as well as to defeat Galactus.

Agatha’s primary accessory is the Darkhold, also known as the Book of the Damned, a spell book containing dark magic spells, which even has a printed tile on the inside with the Scarlet Witch. The She-Hulk minifigure was only ever released once in 76078 Hulk vs. Red Hulk from 2017, and it’s been one of the rarer and more expensive characters on the aftermarket, but now this re-issue should enable fans to not have to overspend to get her.All in all, Goliath is a decent minifigure, but it feels quite out of place in this series, especially with Season 2’s release date up in the air, and only likely to arrive in 2024, making it quite hard to connect with Goliath. Like other characters in this series, we’re treated to a highly detailed minifigure and I especially like the fur detailing throughout his body, with printing across his arms, legs and the side of his legs. Highly detailed accessories - Each character is accompanied by at least 1 authentic accessory and a collector’s leaflet What’s super impressive and one of her most remarkable features is her prosthetic leg, which is a brand new mould. It has a cutout on the side which is really cool and even printing on the side and front. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great Wolverine minifigure, probably the best one that LEGO has ever produced. But with Wolverine recently making an appearance in a Mech Armour, it feels a bit like a wasted slot in a 12-character series, where more obscure characters that might not have the opportunity to show up in regular sets should have been given the time to shine.

Collectible Marvel heroes - Marvel fans can build their collections with 12 unique characters from iconic Disney+ shows to collectI feel like characters like Hawkeye, Wolverine, Goliath, and maybe even The Werewolf could’ve been far better utilised on more important characters like the Scarlet Scarab, Kang the Conqueror, Loki’s Mobius, Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), Vision (from Wandavision), or even someone from Secret Invasion, or an OG X-Men character like Gambit, Rogue or Jubilee. It’s a new chapter in LEGO Minifigures history with the long-awaited launch of LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2, and I’ve written an early review of this exciting new series aimed at fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moon Knight is LEGO Minifigures at its finest, and it’s not hyperbolic to call this one of the most detailed LEGO minifigures and something for fans to cherish. He’s absolutely going to be the chase minifigure in Marvel Series 2. Wolverine has a brand new look, with a new mask that has more dramatic “ears” and I also really like Logan’s hairy forearms. The dual-moulded legs and generous leg printing also gives the Wolverine minifigure bonus style points. Personally, I’m way more excited about the Baby Owl than Hawkeye, mostly because I have so many Hawkeye minifigures from years of collecting LEGO Marvel sets!

Now all that’s done, let’s jump straight into the LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 review! 1. Agatha HarknessThis isn’t Storm’s first appearance as a LEGO, having appeared in 2014’s 76022 X-Men vs The Sentinel but this is her first appearance in her white suit, which imho, is such an iconic look for her. Fans of the Hawkeye TV series will be delighted to see the inclusion of this adorable (but deadly!) baby owl, a brand new mould and one for LEGO animal collectors to get excited about. Do note that there might be some variances with weight due to differences in the cardboard box, so if it’s off by a few milligrams, that’s usually fine. Gifts for Marvel fans - These durable LEGO minifigures can be given to kids aged 5+ and adults as an unexpected treat to expand their collections
