Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large saucepan, fry the onion and carrot over a medium heat until softened. Add the water, bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 mins. Remove from the heat then add the curry sauce mix, in pieces, stir until completely melted. Simmer gently for another 5 mins, stirring constantly.

Turn the heat off, break S&B Golden Curry Mix into pieces and add them to the saucepan. Stir until the sauce is completely melted. Simmer for approximately five minutes, stirring constantly. The convenience comes from the readily made Japanese Curry Sauce Mixor curry roux(カレールー), which allows you to cook up the stew-like curry consisting of meat & vegetables in the shortest time.
