About this deal

I think the story and the plot are awesome! When I started read the first chapter, I feel like…wow! The opening story is really interesting and reading next chapter just make me want some more. Yuki is the manager of the basketball team. She is a person that rarely expresses her feeling and is really strong female character that's hardworking and strong willed when it comes to the basketball team. At first she was in love with the former captain of the basketball team, but Shou somewhat forced his way into her heart. The romance between her and Shou is really sweet, as Shou forcefully tries to play moves on her and her strong resistance against his actions. In the end, of course Shou gets his way. I really love how the author shaped this character to not be like the generic shoujo heroine. First of all, Yuki, (the female protagonist) doesn’t take any of Naruse’s (the male protagonist) feelings in consideration. How Yuki would always become submissive towards naruse, even after being CLEARLY SEXUALLY HARASSED MULTIPLE TIMES.. i cant really compare to any manga due to the fact that i think its my first time reading shoujo manga. well i can compare it with the anime Maid sama though. both of them really put on some similar vibes.

I kind of get how a teenager's body and mind reacts and develops different from adults. Sale is important for the survival in business and contribution in the economy. But they should do better. We should do better. I am uncertain if Japan is very liberal or very objectifying and oppressive these days - it's always dangling between these fine lines. But I agree with milkgreentea, girls will get impressions out of these works. And this is not romantic. It is not love. If this was to happen in real world, in the US for instance, imagine the sensationalisation coming from the media reporting a high school/college rape case. And there will be more coming to light, more progress made. So these shoujo mangas'd better catch up with the current and really do more than just pretty art. I dont really care about how good my review is and i dont really care if this makes you mad cause its ur favorite mangaYuki Machida, a second-year high school student, is the manager of the school's basketball team and has spent her childhood masking her emotions after years of caring for her five siblings as the eldest. During the welcoming ceremony, she meets Sho Naruse, an impudent student a year her junior who also joins the basketball team. Day after day, Sho tests her patience with his selfish and lecherous comments. However, Yuki is in love with the basketball team's captain, Kido, who had recently gotten a girlfriend. One day, Sho finds out Yuki's feelings for Kido, to her dismay, but he supports her during times of distress. After the final match of the year, Sho admits to Yuki that he is in love with her and declares to win her. Yuki later admits her feelings for Sho and they become a couple.

for art, well nothing special i guess. i love how they manage to portray all of the characters expression. maybe it's just that i have a big guy's body with a little girl's heart. but enough with that, lets just get straight in with the review.

But what stood out in this manga is the character progress and also the enjoyment I felt reading through it and relating with the characters. I finished all 113 chapters and spent 3 days reading all of them. I’m still on high after reading, so here are my thoughts about this manga.

I really like Namai's art style. The characters are drawn very cleanly(?) and the cutting isn't too confusing. Naruse is especially eye-catching (though I guess that's a given...) The other characters are also drawn with pretty distinctive traits, so it's easy to recognise them. I dont know how people see character development like the slightest development gets thrown off by another stupid cliche issue that happens. volume (February 19, 2016) - chapters 31-35 +bonus chapter; Cheeky Brat "That-If": Idol Agency; Cheeky Brat "What-If": Host Club; Something Else That Happened on That Fateful Day

Interest Stacks

Cheeky Brat ( Japanese: なまいきざかり。, Hepburn: Namaiki Zakari, lit. "Full Bloom Cheekiness") is a Japanese shōjo manga series by Mitsubachi Miyuki. It was serialized in the semi-monthly manga magazine Hana to Yume from November 2013 to December 2021. During the series' run, a drama CD was released with the 10th volume. [2] A live-action short movie was released on Hakusensha's official YouTube channel to promote the release of the 12th volume. [3] Plot [ edit ]

My subject comes pretty strong. But it is what this manga is about: a predatory fantasy in a "sweet, romantic, high school love story" clothing with pushy male lead and push-over female lead. ( PJ1 summed it up!) Ressler, Karen (December 6, 2017). "Japanese Comic Ranking, November 27-December 3". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018. this review may not make any sense, since im literally just ranting randomly at this point... but i hope you get the point. damn i love this manga so much. well theres some part that i dont really like such as shizuka being a little bitch. well i think that's what makes this manga special. that amount of uneasiness that they left to the viewer so that they are craving for more chapters. but it's kind of hard to forgive all of her faults because she's just that "oblivious" or "naive". I think the problem was, the writer did such a good job writing Naruse-kun that you can't really help but empathize with him and his genuine love for the MC. Even the love rivals that appear in the plot are all beautiful and lovable, so when the MC is as weak (some even call her "stupid") as Yuki is, it's annoying.

Ressler, Karen (August 2, 2017). "Japanese Comic Ranking, July 24–30". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018. The art of Namaikizakari is beautiful on all aspects- such as the romance scenes and the sports scenes. I also really loved the author's previous works, so the art really got me here. Both characters are extremely petty, yet outright refuse to talk about it when it matters. They're both jealous, with one being more open about it (well, rather than MORE open, just plain open) and the other more on the passive-aggressive side of things. They dated for like a year already, and they have 0 trust in each other. Aah, woe is me~~ At the same time, he retains everything that's unique to him, like him being blunt and forgetting things easily, even if they mean a lot to the other person... But well, it's Naruse-style. So it's okay. xD
