Relax your arm and place your elbow on the table so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart. Turn the palm of your hand upward. Place the cuff over your upper arm and tighten the cuff over your arm, making sure you can fit two fingers underneath the cuff. You want the cuff to be over the upper part of your arm with the tubing leading down the centre or slightly to the right of your arm. When the cuff is assembled correctly, the Velcro hook material will be on the outside of the cuff loop and the metal ring will not touch your skin. If the cuff is open, pass the end of the cuff furthest from the tubing through the metal ring to form a loop. The smooth cloth should be on the inside of the cuff loop. The Bluetooth® feature on your blood pressure monitor may be turned off. Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your blood pressure monitor by holding the “sync” button down for more than 10 seconds. Release the button when “on” starts to blink on your blood pressure monitor’s display.
