This is a well written story which is sweet, and with witty banter, emotions, fantastic, engaging, and relatable characters, and is a humorous and addictive page turner. Rebecca Jenshak is undoubtedly a new-to-me author and her writing is quite amazing, making her books easy to read and indulge myself into.

Even though my favourite sports to read about are hockey (like this series is) or football, I do crave different settings and new things to learn about from time to time. He may be a big, tough hockey player, but he’s also a sweet, vulnerable man and I really enjoyed that side of Rhett. Their love story is a fairytale one and sometimes, Rhett's thoughtfulness seems a bit unrealistic to me so that's why this book isn't a 5-star read for me. Although the book was highly amusing at times, mostly due to my fav Maverick, it dealt with some serious matters and had several sad moments that in my opinion make the book all that more special and impressive. Read on for spoilers - starts with the guy getting out of the only relationship he’s every been in which was 6 years long with his childhood best friend.Their relationship was really cute, and somewhat realistic for a college romance–something nice and fun slowly becomes more serious. Rhett and Sienna are amazing, I loved seeing the change in each of them but also the amazing characteristics that make them who they are. They think they want different things, but when it heats up between them, there’s no denying they have something in common–even if it’s just for a night. Sienna is a figure skating, she hasn't a dating life because she has spent her college years working hard on the ice.

I liked how sweet and protective he is and all the time on the ice (his hockey, her figure skating) was a lot of fun too!

Not to mention his roommates, are getting tired of the lack of, sleep and sex all due, to the buzz kill when he doesn't answer it. Sienna and Rhett must deal with some challenging events, but their incredible group of friends who are more like family supports them through it all.

He lost his way a bit as he struggled through the events in the story but he got himself back on track at the end. Rhett is a hockey player who has just broken up with his long-distance ex-girlfriend and he is determined to enjoy his final college days. After their initial inauspicious meeting and Sienna’s misconception about Rhett’s character, they form a tentative friendship that’s sizzling with chemistry. This book is most definitely much heavier than the others- there is a gravitas in general to bother characters already given past pains both are working through - Rhett’s revolving around his ex. It had a lot of depth and emotion to it and some unexpected twists that kept me fully engrossed the whole story.I loved to know better Rhett and to find out he is one of the good men, and Sienna has pleasantly surprised me with her maturity. I love how rocky their beginnings are- how humorously and endearingly Rhett puts his foot in his mouth over and over again, I feel madly in love with them, probably quicker than any couple thus far- the spark between them was just so captivating.

She's a college athlete about to skate for the last time, and nothing is going to throw her off course. As much as I love a possessive or jealous hero, I actually really enjoyed Rhett in this book and how secure he was with Sienna. I loved how they supported one another and the fact that they, as a couple, were fairly low drama and didn’t play games with each other.The Valley U women immediately bring Sienna into their tight-knit group and let her know that she has one of the good ones.
