About this deal

Taking into account that there is more liquid in this system than in most others (that beat this system in this review) is enough to start seeing red flags here.

The box doesn't come with instructions but they have a youtube channel where you can find some "basic" videos (albeit without showing you the screws being used at each step. The Liquid Freezer with the VRM fan off loses a few ranks, consistent across all 12 total test passes for this one chart (and we have about 24 test passes for the other 3 configurations we ran). AMD's upcoming 7000 series AM5 processors also come with multi-die layouts and can therefore benefit from the Liquid Freezer II's unique offset mounting. This allows a larger amount of water to be used in the circuit and significantly increases the cooling surface area. Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital (UK) PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. I ended up just separating the included fans from the daisy chained cable, replaced them with T30 fans, daisy chained those fans together with their built in daisy chain system, and attached an extension on the last fan to the cpu header and then plugged the pump cable to the pump header. These fans were designed with an emphasis of focused airflow and high static pressure, to ensure efficient cooling even with air resistance.

The Liquid Freezer II Series AIO coolers feature a newly developed PWM-controlled pump, boasting a copper base, improved efficiency, lower power usage and quiet operation. And while one of them showed significant thermal improvements after installing Thermalright’s LGA1700 contact frame, the other motherboard showed no difference in temperatures whatsoever! I’ll be testing Intel’s i9-13900K CPU using Asus’ TUF Gaming Z690 Gaming Plus WIFI motherboard and Cooler Master’s HAF 700 Berserker computer case, with case fans limited to 35% speeds. Since the Raptor Lake 13900K actively adjusts in a way that seeks its top safe temperature, we’ll compare performance instead by looking at total benchmark scores and clock speeds maintained. The new pump of the Liquid Freezer II Series ensures an ideal ratio of high CPU cooling performance to low noise levels. What is equally impressive is that it manages this cooling performance whilst still being very quiet, even under load. While the top speed of 2000 RPM is relatively modest, the speed control range is good, and this should pay dividends when it comes to noise output.

I cavi sono tutti uniti e passano attraverso i tubi fino ad arrivare alla pompa, questo permetto di non impazzire con i cavi delle ventole. The Arctic Liquid Freezer results were benched 6 times each, with and without the VRM fan, and with 2 sets of re-mounts. They mention that it's easy to fit in a Fractal Designs R6 case, the noise levels are very low and does not get annoying. Included with the Liquid Freezer II are three 120mm P Series fans, preinstalled to the radiator for convenience. This doesn’t move the needle much for Arctic, which seems to top-out in its efficiency at around 1200RPM rather than its maximum 1600RPM.That said, this does reduce temperature and it does work, and in cases that are really hot and closed-off, with a 3950X or higher-power chip, with overclocking, and with a VRM which is undercooled and overheated, this would be a value add.

When the VRM fan is set so low that it's inaudible then it's even less effective and in a really quiet system this fan is quickly one of the main offenders, plus you have no specific control over its rpm. This is especially effective in overclocking scenarios, inadequate VRM cooling or in housings with poor airflow, thus permitting continuously high loads.
